  6. after watching many of these types of videos it's my belief it is most likely that a great flood or some other cataclysmic event did exist and wiped out human civilization that had existed for thousands of years. The technology and knowledge of these earlier humans was different but advanced and in many ways superior to our tech and in other ways less advanced. After the cataclysm there was a small amount of people and animals that survived and they basically had to start over. It's probable that the environment was so inhospitable that many of the people who did initially survive died out due to lack of food and basic resources. The main concern of the few who did survive was survival itself ie food and shelter and culture was of less concern. After a long period of time civilization grew and new cultures and ideas emerged out of the ashes. There is no way that many of these ancient monuments were built within the last few thousand years. The reason these rock structures are the only evidence we have of our ancestors is that the cataclysm was so great that all other physical forms of human intelligence was lost most likely in the ocean in which is was devoured by time.
