  1. My great uncle would make a point to bring up Ed Gein every time my grandmother would carve the roast at the table. He thought it was hilarious. It wasn’t quite so funny to her of course.😬

  2. I just love your work. I discovered you only days ago & find myself thoroughly engrossed in the content. Thanks & keep up the interesting subject matter.

  3. I'm from Wisconsin and really found the story very interesting. Not a big deal, but his last name is pronounced "geen", as rhyming with "seen". Keep up the good work!

  5. I find it's ridiculous that women are dying of breast cancer ,nowadays!!! with all the technology !!! we shouldn't be dying from any type of cancer..!!! Especially, breast cancer with women going to the doctors, all the time !!! Its just shouldn't happen..nowadays..sorry for your friend loss.!!!

  7. makes me wonder if his mother had given him a different upbringing, would he have not killed those ladies. also wonder if he killed his brother, perhaps his brother found him dressed in womens clothes or something

  8. Dear Mr Oddie, You ask: "Why does horror sale?" I believe it is a physiological reaction of adrenaline. Adrenaline is a pain reliever, and gives a sense of pleasure. With relief sometimes brings about laughter (a flight response). -wendy

  9. Almost makes me embarrassed to live in Wisconsin. I graduated in 1984. Having never heard of him before, it was shocking to see his story on the news and in specials. Wisconsin is full of horror. And interesting tid bits. For instance for the last three years I've lived in Weyauwega. Home to the hotel in Psycho. The writer actually wrote the story here. The hotel has been torn down now. But the hotel sign remains. It was quite fun listening to you pronounce our strong Indian town names. Here's one for you to try. Kaukauna. Ha ha. Thanks for sharing. Cheers

  10. Of course Ed was the inspiration for Silence of the lambs Buffalo Bill, Chillingly Ed liked to hunt and sometimes gave meat to locals. Meat he said was from his game kills,,,, Think on that for a while 🙁

  11. Made a video on the The St . Louis ghost light in saskatchewan, Canada. It's been on unsolved mysteries and that's incredible. I believe you will find it quite intriguing..
